OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.164.11.2.4.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: When ARP Proxy is enabled, the router can respond to ARP requests for nodes located on a different sub-net, provided they are it its network table. The router responds with its own MAC address. When ARP Proxy is disabled, the router responds only to ARP requests for its own IP addresses.

What is rtrArpProxy?

Controls whether the router answers ARP requests on behalf of hosts on a different subnet that it has a route to (proxy ARP); an admin enables this to let devices that can't route reach hosts across a subnet boundary as if they were local.
