What is dot1qTpVlanPortHCInDiscards?
This high-capacity counter records discarded inbound frames on a VLAN port for very fast links. Network engineers monitor this to see how many frames are being filtered on high-speed interfaces without counter wraparound issues. This prevents missing discard data during peak traffic periods.
