proResMemBufTotal

Module: PROTEON-MIB

OID (symbolic): PROTEON-MIB::proResMemBufTotal

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1.6.1.1.2.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: The total number of bytes of buffer memory available for allocation.

What is proResMemBufTotal?

Per the DESCRIPTION, this always reads zero on modern releases because buffer memory is no longer tracked as a separate pool -- buffer statistics are instead reflected in the proResMemHeap* objects. An admin should rely on proResMemHeapTotal rather than this object for current memory figures.
