Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The number of ELS enterprise specific traps which may be generated per second. A value of zero indicates no limit.

This object reflects the operational pin value currently in use by ELS. A SET of this object immediately affects ELS.

This variable should only be SET to a value in the range 0 to 65535.

What is proElsPin?

The maximum number of ELS enterprise-specific traps the router will generate per second, with zero meaning no limit; a SET here takes effect immediately on the running ELS system. An admin lowers this to throttle trap floods from a chatty subsystem, then checks proElsDropped to see how many traps were suppressed as a result.
