Description: This object returns an ASCII string containing the short names of all datalink/MAC types supported in the current load.

What is proCfgDatalinks?

An ASCII string listing the short names of every datalink/MAC layer type (e.g. Ethernet, Token Ring, FDDI) supported in the router's currently loaded software image. An admin reads this to confirm a specific interface type is supported before installing or configuring that hardware.
