proActionReset

Module: PROTEON-MIB

OID (symbolic): PROTEON-MIB::proActionReset

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1.1.5.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object, when read, returns a value of zero.

A set of this object causes the router to be reset. The value represents the delay (in seconds) before the reset will take affect.

This object should only be SET to 0 or a positive number

What is proActionReset?

Reading this object always returns zero; setting it to zero or a positive number resets the router after that many seconds of delay. An admin sets this to schedule a router reset (equivalent to OPCON's RESTART on 2210/2212) during a maintenance window rather than resetting immediately.
