Description: control type to change the RIP update mechanism
What is alripControlType?
This read-write setting selects which RIP configuration mechanism the hub uses: normal(1) applies the per-port configuration table, while vlan(2) applies the per-VLAN configuration table instead. An admin switching a hub from routed-port mode to VLAN-based routing sets this to vlan(2) so the alripVLANConfig* table takes effect.
