What is pmStudyClassCollectCaps?

A bitmask identifying generic characteristics of the collection methodology: transport-layer data collection, application-layer data collection, network-flow-summary-based collection, and/or non-network event monitoring such as UI window events. Admins use it to understand at what layer or via what mechanism a given PM Study Class gathers its raw data. A study class with the pmCollectFlow bit set relies on network flow summaries rather than deep transport or application layer inspection.
