plxFtMaxPerm

Module: PLEXCOM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PLEXCOM-MIB::plxFtMaxPerm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.465.2.1.5

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Max number of permanent filter table entries. Setting this value to zero clears all permanent and dynamic entries from the filter table. Any other set is ignored.

What is plxFtMaxPerm?

Caps how many permanent (statically configured, non-aging) entries the filter table can hold; setting it to zero is a documented trick an admin can use to wipe the entire filter table (both permanent and dynamically learned entries) in one shot.
