pktcMtaDevTelephonyCertificate

Module: PKTC-MTA-MIB

OID (symbolic): PKTC-MTA-MIB::pktcMtaDevTelephonyCertificate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4491.2.2.1.1.3.5.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: X509Certificate

Access: read-write

Description: ASN.1 DER encoding of the MTA's X.509 public-key certificate issued by the Service Provider with either the Service Provider CA or a Local System CA. This certificate, called MTA Telephony Certificate, contains the same public key as the MTA Device Certificate issued by the manufacturer. It is used to authenticate the identity of the MTA to the TGS (during PKINIT exchanges). The provisioning server needs the ability to update this certificate in the MTAs via both SNMP and configuration files.

What is pktcMtaDevTelephonyCertificate?

Holds the MTA's own telephony certificate, issued by the Service Provider or a Local System CA and carrying the same public key as the manufacturer's device certificate, used to authenticate the MTA to the Ticket Granting Server during Kerberos PKINIT exchanges.
