What is tslpDsGatewayErrPkts?
This counter tracks Ethernet packets received from the network that were discarded on a specific PVC (Permanent Virtual Circuit) because the gateway MAC address could not be resolved or the source MAC address did not match the expected gateway MAC. These dropped packets indicate routing or MAC resolution failures. A DSL or broadband access network operator would monitor this counter to diagnose connectivity issues or misconfigured gateway addressing on customer circuits.
