Value of ICMP code. In certain cases, an ICMP type may have several submessages. A submessage is called an ICMP code.

The value cannot be changed while the Rule is Active.

Valid from: EDA 2.2 SP2

What is ipAclIcmpCode?

This object specifies which ICMP message code (such as 'echo reply', 'destination unreachable', or a specific sub-type) to match in an IP Access Control List rule. ICMP messages have both a type and a code; this object filters on the code level for finer granularity. An operator configures this when building ICMP-specific firewall or traffic control policies, such as allowing only specific ICMP diagnostic messages.
