Module: PEA-BRIDGE-IPDSLAM

OID (symbolic): PEA-BRIDGE-IPDSLAM::downstreamMaximumBurstSize

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.72.300.30.1.3.1.23

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: The maximum number of cells in a burst. Notice: To allow a complete telephony over IP packet to be included in one burst, 4 atm cells are needed. Furthermore, if a VBR service category has been chosen, this parameter cannot be 0.

What is downstreamMaximumBurstSize?

This object configures the maximum number of ATM cells allowed in a single burst on the downstream direction of an IP-over-DSL connection, with special consideration for VoIP requiring 4 cells per telephone packet and VBR services not allowing zero values. The parameter controls traffic shaping and burst management in DSL systems. An operator would adjust this setting to optimize voice quality, prevent buffer overflows, or match upstream/downstream capacity asymmetries in DSL connections.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PEA-BRIDGE-IPDSLAM::downstreamMaximumBurstSize

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.193.72.300.30.1.3.1.23.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PEA-BRIDGE-IPDSLAM::downstreamMaximumBurstSize.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
