Description:

A parameter which gives the number of downstream frames received on the PVC per second.

What is downstreamFramesPerSecond?

Holds an unsigned 32-bit count of downstream frames arriving per second on a PVC. This measures data throughput flowing toward the customer on a DSL circuit. An operator uses this to verify that a customer's DSL line is receiving the expected rate of packets, typically checking it during troubleshooting slowness complaints.
