Description: The current state of the BCP State Machine.

What is pdnPppBridgeBcpLinkStatusCurrState?

This reports the current state of the Bridging Control Protocol (BCP) state machine for this PPP link, which governs negotiation of the bridging option over a PPP connection per RFC 1661's state transition model. Administrators check this to verify whether a PPP bridge link has successfully completed negotiation (reached the Opened state) or is stuck earlier in negotiation, which helps diagnose why bridged traffic isn't passing over the link. If this value shows something other than the fully opened state, an admin would know the bridging option hasn't finished negotiating and traffic bridging over that PPP link won't yet work.
