OID (symbolic): PCA-Alert-MIB::callerName

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.393.100.9.9.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: DisplayString

Access: read-only

Description: The name of the remote caller.

What is callerName?

This read-only DisplayString (up to 128 characters) holds the name of the remote caller connecting to a pcAnywhere Host, and is used only as a trap variable. An admin uses this value from a pcaHostInSession trap to identify which user initiated a remote-control session on the host. A value of "jdoe" appearing in a session trap tells the admin that user account established the current pcAnywhere connection.
