All MIBsPBI-MGSYSTEM-MIBdefault

default

Module: PBI-MGSYSTEM-MIB

OID (symbolic): PBI-MGSYSTEM-MIB::default

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1070.3.1.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Device renew to factory setup

What is default?

This read-write INTEGER, when set, resets the device's configuration back to factory defaults. Use this as a last resort when a unit's configuration has become unworkable and needs to be wiped and reconfigured from scratch — the MIB does not document a specific trigger value, so consult the vendor's management application or CLI convention before setting it.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1070.3.1.1.12
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> PBI-MGSYSTEM-MIB::default

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1070.3.1.1.12.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> PBI-MGSYSTEM-MIB::default.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1070.3.1.1.12.1 i <value>
