Description: This entry defines the port number used for the transmission of time slot 29. 'port-4' is available only if IportPortmode is set to 'interface-mode'. If the time slot is assigned for remote management (see mdmRemoteAccessMode). Valid for E1 units only.
What is tsTimeslot29?
This read-write setting assigns which physical port (port-1 through port-4), the special remote-access channel, or 'off' carries time slot 29 of the E1/T1 frame; port-4 is selectable only when the interface port is in interface-mode. An admin uses this to map time slot 29 to a specific data port or to dedicate it to remote management via mdmRemoteAccessMode when wiring up channelized traffic across the INAX link. This slot exists only on E1 units, which carry 31 usable slots versus the 24 available on T1.
