Module: P8510-MIB
OID (symbolic): P8510-MIB::ch1Name
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22626.1.5.2.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: DisplayString
Access: read-only
Description: Channel 1 name.
What is ch1Name?
This value is a user-configurable text label identifying channel 1 of the sensor device. An admin uses this to give the channel a meaningful name, so the numeric readings from ch1Val and related objects can be identified at a glance rather than by index alone. For example, an admin might set this to "Server Room Temp" to label the channel monitoring that location.
