ch1Delay

Module: P8510-MIB

OID (symbolic): P8510-MIB::ch1Delay

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22626.1.5.2.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Channel 1 temperature alarm delay [s].

What is ch1Delay?

This value is the number of seconds channel 1's reading must remain past an alarm threshold before the device actually raises the alarm. An admin uses this delay to filter out brief, transient spikes so only sustained temperature excursions trigger ch1Alarm, avoiding noisy false alerts. For example, setting this to 60 means a one-time momentary spike above ch1LimHi that lasts only a few seconds would not trip the alarm, but a full minute over the limit would.
