Module: P8510-MIB

OID (symbolic): P8510-MIB::ch1Alarm

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.22626.1.5.2.1.4

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: Alarm on channel 1; 0 - No alarm, 1 - Alarm Hi, 2- Alarm Lo.

What is ch1Alarm?

This value indicates whether channel 1 is currently in an alarm condition, per the object's description covering no alarm, high alarm, and low alarm states. An admin monitors this to get an immediate signal that the channel 1 temperature has crossed a configured limit, without having to compare ch1Val against ch1LimHi or ch1LimLo manually. For example, if this value indicates a high alarm, the admin would check ch1LimHi to see what threshold was exceeded and take cooling action.
