OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.285.7.3

Description: A detailed explanation of why the last SNMP operation failed. It is used by the management station when the SNMP error-status in the response does not fully explain the reason for the failure. For example, 'badValue' can be returned if the user has entered an improper value or if there are insufficient system resources to perform a requested action. The SNMP agent should return the failure explanation only if it is requested by the station that caused it. If no failure has occurred, the SNMP agent should return an empty string when a request for this object.

What is managementSnmpLastErrorReason?

This is a detailed, human-readable explanation of why the most recent SNMP operation failed, supplementing the standard SNMP error-status code when that alone doesn't make the cause clear; it returns an empty string if no failure has occurred. An admin fetches this immediately after receiving an unexpected SNMP error response to get more actionable detail than a bare 'badValue' or similar status code provides.
