controlTftpSessionRowStatus

Module: Olicom-MIB

OID (symbolic): Olicom-MIB::controlTftpSessionRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.285.5.21.3.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: The status of this TFTP session entry. The following values are possible: 'active' - TFTP operation is in progress. Setting this object to this value starts the transmission. 'notInService' - The row is created but there is no TFTP transfer in progress. 'createAndWait' - the only way to create the session. If the operation is successful the status of the row should be 'notInService'. 'destroy' - destroys the row and frees the resources. This operation will fail when the row is 'active'. 'createAndGo' is illegal. Setting this object to this value will fail. 'notReady' is not used for this variable.

What is controlTftpSessionRowStatus?

This RowStatus controls the lifecycle of a TFTP session entry: createAndWait is the only way to create one, active starts the actual transfer, notInService means the row exists but no transfer is running, and destroy removes it (which fails while the session is active). An admin should note that createAndGo is explicitly illegal for this table and will be rejected, unlike the more common RowStatus pattern used elsewhere.
