controlEnableRmon

Module: Olicom-MIB

OID (symbolic): Olicom-MIB::controlEnableRmon

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.285.5.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This object specifies whether RMON probe is enabled or disabled. If the device does not support RMON only disabled is allowed. Setting this variable resets the CAU.

What is controlEnableRmon?

This enables or disables the RMON probe functionality on devices that support it; on devices without RMON support, only disabled is a valid setting. Setting this variable also resets the CAU (Controlled Access Unit), so an admin should expect a brief service interruption when toggling it.
