What is oraDbSysPhysWrites?
This counter reports the 'physical writes' statistic from v$sysstat, the total number of data blocks written from the buffer cache out to disk, mainly by DBWR at checkpoints. Sudden spikes correlate with checkpoint or free-buffer pressure and are worth cross-checking against disk I/O latency graphs.
