What is optixsonetVendId?
This is a text string identifying the vendor (manufacturer) of the Huawei OptiX SONET network element being managed. Administrators use it to confirm equipment provenance in inventory and monitoring systems, especially in mixed-vendor transport networks where knowing the manufacturer at a glance matters for support and lifecycle tracking. For example, this field would typically read "Huawei" for an OptiX-branded SONET/SDH transport device.
