scfSystemAmbientTemperatureMinPollingInterval

Module: OPL-SP-MIB

OID (symbolic): OPL-SP-MIB::scfSystemAmbientTemperatureMinPollingInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.211.1.15.3.1.1.4.12.3

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Integer32

Access: read-only

Description: Minimum interval time in seconds between updates of scfSystemAmbientTemperatureValue. It is strongly recommended to get object scfSystemAmbientTemperatureValue with intervals longer than this value. It is meaningless to get value at smaller intervals, because, internally, scfSystemAmbientTemperatureValue will not be updated. When this feature is not supported, maximum value of INTEGER type is set as interval value.

What is scfSystemAmbientTemperatureMinPollingInterval?

Reports the minimum useful interval, in seconds, between reads of scfSystemAmbientTemperatureValue, since the underlying value isn't updated internally any faster; an unsupported feature reports the maximum INTEGER value here. An admin sets their polling interval for ambient temperature monitoring to at least this value.
