What is pfStateSearches?

A running total of lookups performed against the state table, incrementing on every packet pf checks against existing tracked connections. It's mainly useful as a load indicator - a high rate signals a busy firewall doing a lot of per-packet state matching.

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> OPENBSD-PF-MIB::pfStateSearches

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.30155.1.3.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> OPENBSD-PF-MIB::pfStateSearches.1
