pfCntCongestion

Module: OPENBSD-PF-MIB

OID (symbolic): OPENBSD-PF-MIB::pfCntCongestion

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.30155.1.2.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter64

Access: read-only

Description: The number of packets that were dropped due to congestion on the interface.

What is pfCntCongestion?

Counts packets dropped because the outbound network interface was congested (its send queue was full) rather than because of a filter rule. Persistent growth here points to link saturation or an undersized interface queue, not a firewall policy problem.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.30155.1.2.8
