All MIBs › OPCD-CLUSTER-MIB-V2
Category: VoIP/Telephony
Description: Monitors cluster node membership, failover state, and health on OpenCode VoIP/IVR platforms.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is OPCD-CLUSTER-MIB-V2?
OPCD-CLUSTER-MIB-V2 is an OpenCode Systems private enterprise MIB (occluster, under opencode-systems 40) that is purely a notification/trap module for cluster health on OpenCode's VoIP/IVR platform — it defines no polled tables, only trap-varbind objects and NOTIFICATION-TYPE definitions. The three shared varbind objects (mcr-Host, mcr-Severity, mcr-Text) are carried in every trap, and the notification set covers supervisor election (occluster-became-supervisor and its Canceled counterpart), cluster node up/down (occluster-node-down / -Canceled), resource-agent up/down, individual resource up/down, and service up/down. Because it is trap-only, monitoring this MIB means configuring an SNMP trap receiver to catch and correlate these notifications rather than polling gauges, which fits its role as an alerting layer for cluster failover events. It is deployed alongside OPCD-SUPPORT-MIB-V2 on OpenCode cluster application nodes, and integrators can get the OPCD-CLUSTER-MIB-V2 download to register these traps in their NMS.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in OPCD-CLUSTER-MIB-V2. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- OpenCode Systems VoIP/IVR clustered application platform
Monitoring Examples
An operator's trap receiver logs occluster-node-down for a cluster member and, shortly after, occluster-became-supervisor from a peer node; that pairing confirms the cluster correctly detected the outage and failed supervisory responsibility over to a surviving node rather than losing quorum.
What Can Be Monitored
- supervisor election/cancellation events
- cluster node up/down events
- resource agent up/down events
- individual resource up/down events
- service up/down events
