Description: High Impedance Mode Tip/Ring DC Voltages (Foreign Voltages): In this mode, the DuSLIC tip and ring are in high impedance. The measured voltages represent foreign voltages. DC voltages for T-R, T-G and R-G will be reported. This parameter is intrusive and will be available in shutdown state only.
What is mltTestHighImpedanceModeVoltagesVdctr?
Part of the full mlt suite, this read-only value in 0.1 Vdc reports the DC voltage between tip and ring while the line driver is put into high-impedance mode, which exposes any foreign (unwanted external) voltage present on the pair. An admin sees a non-zero reading here as evidence of induced power or lightning-related voltage on the cable rather than the driver's own output.
