mscTrkUnAckedMaximumErroredInterval

Module: Nortel-MsCarrier-MscPassport-UnackTrunksMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-MsCarrier-MscPassport-UnackTrunksMIB::mscTrkUnAckedMaximumErroredInterval

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.562.36.2.1.60.2.10.1.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Unsigned32

Access: read-write

Description: This attribute specifies the interval time over which the error threshold (as specified by receiveErrorSensitivity) must be continuously exceeded before the Unacknowledged, Utp, or FrAccess component can be degraded. Once the error interval count exceeds the provisioned value, the Unacknowledged, Utp, or FrAccess component issues an alarm indicating that link quality has degraded, and it disables its parent component. The exception to this is a value of zero, the default, which indicates that the mechanism is completely disabled.

What is mscTrkUnAckedMaximumErroredInterval?

The number of consecutive intervals (1-15, or 0 to disable, default 0) that the error rate must stay above the configured sensitivity before the trunk is marked degraded and its parent component disabled; an admin raises this to tolerate brief error bursts without triggering a false alarm.
