Description: This attribute indicates the state of the trace queue. A value of normal indicates that traced data is being queued normally. A value of full indicates that trace data is being discarded because the queue is full. A value of blocked indicates that trace data is being discarded because the trace VC is not able to transport the data.

What is mscTraceSessionQueueState?

mscTraceSessionQueueState indicates the health of the queue holding traced data awaiting delivery to the VC, with normal, full, and blocked as its possible values, defaulting to normal. Admins monitor this to detect when trace data is being lost, since full means data is discarded because the queue capacity is exceeded, and blocked means data is discarded because the trace VC itself can't transport it. For example, seeing mscTraceSessionQueueState report full during a high-traffic trace tells an admin the trace is capturing data faster than it can be forwarded, and some frames are being dropped.
