What is mscTraceRcvrRowStatus?

mscTraceRcvrRowStatus is the RowStatus object used as the basis for SNMP naming of mscTraceRcvr components, which identify remote receivers for traced data, and it controls their addition and deletion. Admins set this to create or destroy a trace receiver definition, since traced data must be pointed at a receiver before a trace session can be started. For example, setting mscTraceRcvrRowStatus to createAndGo(4) under a given mscTraceIndex and receiver string defines a new destination for that trace's data.
