What is mscTdmaBcState?

Reports the current state of the MSC/IWF Interface Protocol (MIP) Message Router (MMR) for this bearer channel element: idle (not in use), setup (call establishment in progress), active (call in progress), or release (call teardown in progress). Admins use this as a real-time snapshot of exactly where a specific bearer channel is in its call lifecycle, useful when diagnosing a channel that appears stuck (e.g. lingering in setup or release rather than reaching active or idle).
