This attribute indicates the total number of one second intervals for which the DS3 far-end path is unavailable. The DS3 far-end path becomes unavailable at the onset of 10 consecutive Far-End Severely Errored Seconds (FESES). The 10 FESESs are included in the unavailable time. Once unavailable, the DS3 far-end path becomes available at the onset of 10 contiguous seconds with no FESES. The 10 seconds with no FESES are excluded from the unavailable time. For second intervals where FEUAS is counted, counting of Far-End Coding Violations (FECV), Far-End Errored Seconds (FEES), Far-End Severely Errored Seconds (FESES) and Far-End Sef/Ais Seconds (FESAS) is inhibited.
