Description: This variable is used as the basis for SNMP naming of mscFrDteStDlci components. These components can be added and deleted.

What is mscFrDteStDlciRowStatus?

This is the standard SNMP RowStatus control column for a statically provisioned DLCI (permanent virtual circuit) in the Nortel Passport Frame Relay DTE MIB; its value (active, notReady, notInService, etc.) tells a management station whether the row currently exists and is usable. In practice an operator (or a management station) can create or delete a StDlci row by writing createAndGo/destroy to this column, so a sysadmin scripting provisioning changes reads this column to confirm a StDlci entry is active before touching its other attributes.
