Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: This attribute contains a hardware component name.

The attribute associates the application with a specific link. This defines the module processor on which Framer's parent component (as well as Framer itself) will run.

What is mscFrDteFramerInterfaceName?

This read-write value names the hardware link component (a physical port/circuit) that this Framer, and its parent Frame Relay service, will run on. An admin sets this once at provisioning time to bind the Frame Relay service to a specific physical interface on the Passport shelf; it cannot usefully be changed without effectively re-homing the service.
