Description: This variable is used as the basis for SNMP naming of mscFrDteDlci components. These components cannot be added nor deleted.

What is mscFrDteDlciRowStatus?

This is the standard SNMP RowStatus control column for an operational DLCI (virtual circuit) row, whether statically or dynamically created in the Nortel Passport Frame Relay DTE MIB; its value (active, notReady, notInService, etc.) tells a management station whether the row currently exists and is usable. In practice this row is instantiated automatically by the system and cannot be created or destroyed over SNMP (attempts to set createAndGo/destroy will fail), so a sysadmin scripting provisioning changes reads this column to confirm a Dlci entry is active before touching its other attributes.
