Description: This attribute specifies the current status of the writable bank. It is set to unknown until the status is determined by the software. It takes a few seconds at software activation time to determine the status of the writable bank.
unknown: The switch has not yet determined the state of the writable bank. This happens only within the first few seconds the software is activated. empty: No (valid) software is loaded in the writable bank. loading: Software is currently loading into the writable bank. loaded: The software has successfully loaded.
An example of a transition sequence for the writable bank status is: unknown -> empty-> loading -> loaded-> loading.
On a failure, the status reverts to the previous status that was successful. For example if the loading fails, the status returns to empty.
What is mscShelfFabricCardWritableBankStatus?
Reports the state of software loading into this fabric card's writable bank: unknown at first, then empty, loading, or loaded once software has been installed. If a load fails, the status reverts to the prior good state, e.g. back to empty.
