Description: This attribute specifies the maximum cell transfer delay (MaxCTD) which is applied to the entire ATM Interface for CBR traffic.
MaxCTD is the sum of the fixed delay and the CDV. The components of the fixed delay include propagation delay through the physical media, delays induced by the transmission system, and fixed components of switch processing delay.
This attribute is used by PNNI in the Resource Availability Information Group (RAIG) topology updates and route selection. It is also used by CAC at connection set-up time to determine whether this ATM Interface can meet the ATM connection's MaxCTD requirement.
