Description: This attribute specifies whether the interface is the network or user side of the connection. The parameter applies to both the layer 2 and layer 3 of the interface. If this attribute is set to network, then the interface is master during channel negotiation. If this attribute is set to user, then the interface is slave during channel negotiation.

What is sigChanEQsigSide?

This sets whether the interface acts as the 'network(1)' (default) or 'user(2)' side of the QSIG connection, applying to both layer 2 and layer 3; the network side is master during channel negotiation while the user side is slave, so admins must configure opposite roles on the two ends of a QSIG link.
