Module: Nortel-Magellan-Passport-GsmIwfMIB

OID (symbolic): Nortel-Magellan-Passport-GsmIwfMIB::gsmBcLayer1NonOctetErrorsRx

Description: This attribute counts the number of non-octet synchronous frame errors, on a per-call basis, received on the link reported by the hardware. This is when a frame whose bit content was not divisible by eight was detected. These frames are discarded. These frames are not counted towards the number of frames received (framesRx). The counter wraps when it exceeds the maximum value.

What is gsmBcLayer1NonOctetErrorsRx?

A per-call wrapping counter of frames on this bearer channel's mobile-side link whose bit content was not a whole number of octets; these frames are discarded and excluded from gsmBcLayer1FramesRx.
