Description: Count of transmitted frames discarded because the Local Management Interface (LMI) was not yet active (i.e. LMI was still in the polling state).
This counter will wrap around to 0 when it exceeds its maximum count.
What is frDteXmitDiscardLmiInactive?
Counts transmitted frames discarded because the Local Management Interface (LMI) had not yet become active, i.e. it was still polling; the counter wraps to 0 at its maximum. A burst of this counter right after a link reset is normal while LMI re-establishes, but a sustained increase points to an LMI negotiation problem with the far end.
