nwtControlFallingThreshold

Module: NetWare-Server-Trend-MIB

OID (symbolic): NetWare-Server-Trend-MIB::nwtControlFallingThreshold

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.26.1.1.1.12

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: A threshold for the sampled variable. When the current sampled value is less than or equal to this threshold, and the value at the last sampling interval was greater than this threshold, and the value of nwtControlThresholdType is 'fallingAlarm', a single trap will be generated.

After a trap is generated, another such trap will not be generated until the sampled value rises above this threshold and reaches the nwtControlRisingThreshold.

What is nwtControlFallingThreshold?

The threshold that, when the sampled value falls to meet or drop below it (from above) while nwtControlThresholdType is fallingAlarm, triggers a single trap; another trap won't fire again until the value first rises to nwtControlRisingThreshold. An admin would set this on, e.g., volumePctFreeSpace to be alerted the first time free space drops too low.
