Module: NetWare-Server-MIB
OID (symbolic): NetWare-Server-MIB::nwNCPIPXChecksums
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.28.7.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: Controls NCP IPX checksumming.
What is nwNCPIPXChecksums?
This controls how strictly NCP requests are checksummed over IPX: not at all, only if the client enables it, or always required. Admins tighten this to requireChecksums in security-sensitive environments to detect packet tampering or corruption, at some cost to CPU overhead.
Examples
Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.28.7.1 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> NetWare-Server-MIB::nwNCPIPXChecksums
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.28.7.1.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> NetWare-Server-MIB::nwNCPIPXChecksums.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.23.2.28.7.1.1 i <value>
