CAP: Carrierless Amplitude and Phase modulation 2B1Q: Two Binary, One Quaternary G.SHDSL: Multirate Symmetric Single-pair DSL

What is ifCfgPortSdslLineCode?

This read-write setting selects the SDSL line coding scheme for a port: lineCodeCap (Carrierless Amplitude and Phase modulation), lineCode2B1Q (Two Binary, One Quaternary), or lineCodeGSHDSL (G.SHDSL). An admin sets this to match whatever encoding scheme the SDSL module (SIM2000 family or SDSL micro DSLAM) and the far-end equipment both support, since these three schemes aren't interoperable with each other.
