ifCfgPortAdslStandardMde

Module: NTNTECH-INTERFACE-MODULE-CONFIGURATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): NTNTECH-INTERFACE-MODULE-CONFIGURATION-MIB::ifCfgPortAdslStandardMde

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8059.1.2.1.1.1.2.3.1.10

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: ADSL standard modes of operation.

Note: if receive a standard mode of integer value 255 (0xFF), this would indicate that the standard mode is unknown due to a port 'linkdown' condition.

What is ifCfgPortAdslStandardMde?

This read-write setting selects the ADSL standard mode a port negotiates, such as t1413, gLite, gDMT, one of several gDMT-BIS variants, aLCATEL, or multiMode; a returned value of 255 (stdMdeNoLink) means the mode is unknown because the port link is down. An admin sets this to gDMT or a specific BIS variant to match what the far-end DSLAM/modem supports rather than leaving it on multiMode auto-negotiation.
