ifCfgPortAdslActualRxRate

Module: NTNTECH-INTERFACE-MODULE-CONFIGURATION-MIB

OID (symbolic): NTNTECH-INTERFACE-MODULE-CONFIGURATION-MIB::ifCfgPortAdslActualRxRate

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.8059.1.2.1.1.1.2.3.1.19

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: ADSL upstream (Rx) data rate.

The available upstream data rates range from 32Kbps to 1024Kbps. The upstream data rate can be set by the user via the set value x where x = 1 to 64. The actual data rate that is represented by these set values can be calculated using the following formula,

(x * 32Kbps) = upstream data rate,

i.e. (3 * 32Kbps) = 96Kbps

Note: if an Rx rate value of zero(0) is returned via a GET operation, this would indicate that the port is in 'Adaptive' mode and that the link condition is 'linkdown'.

What is ifCfgPortAdslActualRxRate?

This read-only value reports the ADSL port's actual, currently negotiated upstream (Rx) data rate, encoded the same way as ifCfgPortAdslRxRate (multiples of 32 Kbps); a value of 0 means the port is in Adaptive mode with the link down. An admin reads this to see what rate the line actually trained to, which may differ from a fixed rate requested in Adaptive mode.
