oaVendorOID

Module: NSCRTV-ROOT

OID (symbolic): NSCRTV-ROOT::oaVendorOID

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.17409.1.11.1

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: OBJECT IDENTIFIER

Access: read-only

Description: This object provides manufacturers of optical amplifier MIB expansion. Without the expansion, this should be targeting at the optical amplifier nodes oaIdent.

What is oaVendorOID?

An OBJECT IDENTIFIER giving the vendor's own extension branch for the optical amplifier MIB; if the vendor hasn't defined an extension, this points back at the standard oaIdent node itself. Admins/management tools use this to discover whether a vendor-specific MIB module should be loaded for extra optical-amplifier objects.
